Our Team

Advantage 4 Athletes wants to ensure the success of the athletes who come to train with us. Many minds come together to ensure that every single athlete receives the benefit of the best training programs available, designed specifically for them.

A4A’s mandate is to offer a best-in-class conditioning team, which will provide expert guidance on program development and delivery. The team will include coaches, parents and athletes to ensure that everyone is represented and the athletes’ best interests are taken to heart. Collectively, their experience and knowledge will provide A4A athletes, coaches and parents with unsurpassed support.

Bradley Corcoran, Head Coach

Brad CorcoranBrad attended Long Island University on a Golf Scholarship. LIU is an NCAA Division I University competing in the Northeast Conference (NEC). While competing for LIU, Brad was named MVP in both 2004 and 2005 as well as being selected as a member of the All-Northeast Conference Team during the same two seasons. He helped guide the team to its first conference championship at the 2004 Men's Golf NEC Championship Tournament, providing LIU with its first bid to the 2004 NCAA East Regional. In 2005, Brad was the medalist at the Inaugural Lonnie Barton Memorial Invitational Tournament, an event held for the former LIU Golf Coach who recruited Brad to LIU. Upon completion of his College Golf career, Brad became a Professional Golf Instructor through the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation (CGTF). Keeping with his competitive nature, Brad currently competes on the Great Lakes Tour.

Brad Corcoran is a graduate of Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY.  Upon the completion of his undergraduate study, he became a Graduate Assistant within the Long Island University Athletics Department and a Graduate/Research Assistant within the Health Science Department. Upon completion of his Masters Degree, Brad was awarded the Graduate Award for Academic Excellence.

While completing the requirements of his Masters Degree, Brad helped to develop a Human Performance Lab (HPL) within the Health Science Department. The HPL is used both as an education and research resource at LIU. As a member of the Human Performance Lab team, he Co-Authored an Abstract comparing Reaction Times to an Audio Stimulus versus a Visual Stimulus. This study was presented at the 2007 National Strength and Conditioning Association's Annual Conference by Brad and other representatives from LIU. He is also a Co-Author on a current research study comparing the benefits of moderate intensity exercise to that of an interactive video game system in regard to heart-rate variability, body composition, arterial compliance, and weight management within sedentary individuals.
